filkerdave posted the sad news in his LJ.
Anne and my condolences and prayers go out to kyttn.

I first met Greg as one of the first regulars on #filkhaven, and then in person with Anne at the GAFilk at which he proposed to Maya. My abiding memory of him is of someone always cheerful, smiling, ready with a friendly word.

He will be missed and mourned.

Thank you for your kind words about filkergem. Our family was lucky enough to be able to call him 'brother' and our daughter called him 'uncle'.

This just doesn't seem real. It can't be.
