Wonderful to see one more musician (and somebody I have met and like) who really gets it about bass. (Although when you saw Louie and me at ConTata, she was playing bass and I was playing acoustic guitar, I gig almost completely on bass these days.) I will add one other thing I have noticed: When the guitar player plays well, the guitar sounds good. When the bass player plays well, the band sounds good.
