definitely a MIXED couple of weeks...

last week - the estate agents phone to say that the person at the far end of the buying chain has messed up and failed to get their offer in on their new house in time. Joy.

this week -

Chatting to friends on uk.music.guitar, happen to mention I'm cleaning up my old wahwah pedal. T says 'what make?' - I check, realise it's NOT a Jim Dunlop, but the markedly more valuable ($200ish) Jen Crybaby. Big grin, but hey, it's a wahwah pedal. I need a wahwah pedal for one song with the band. Keep it. So when K shows up on IRC an hour or so later and idly mentions he's after a wahwah, I tell him the story and regretfully decline to sell him it.

And then I'm browsing eBay yesterday... but I'm getting ahead of myself. ( Allow me to tell you a story... )

It gets better...

The folks we're buying off have got fed up waiting on the people further down the chain, and have gone looking again.

They've found a place that seems to match what they want, and are looking at it this afternoon. And best of all, it's vacant!
