The GAS list revisited
Feb. 5th, 2004 10:52 amWell, having sold about 950 quids worth of equipment (I really DON'T need the 'fridge of doom' with Phoenix, and a Behringer V-Amp will do the job just as well), and also 300 quid's worth of acoustic, I've been shopping for stuff on the GAS list.
For the PA:
[x] Behringer Multicom 4 channel compressor
[ ] Adam Hall 24/4 multicore
For my guitar rig (slightly more 'nice toys for me', but, hell - a volume pedal is just a volume pedal... :) )
[ ] Behringer Volume Pedal - not found one in stock yet
[x] Boss TU-2 pedal tuner - went for a Korg DT-10 instead, since a) it's better and b) Boss seem to have UK delivery issues.
[ ] Shadow SH096 replacement pickup
[x] SKB PS-35 Pedalboard - went instead for a SP46 pedalboard from the excellent Flightcase Warehouse for about a third of the price.
[x] Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeller - nailed for £100 (nearly half price) second hand from Live Music in Peterborough
[ ] Behringer Ultracoustic acoustic guitar amp
[ ] Several Gator guitar cases
[ ] An Arrowhead Guitars custom copy of a Turner Model 1-LBC
For Anne's keys rig:
[ ] Behringer 4-channel DI box - will be buying an SM DI-4 instead.
Stuff not on the original list:
[x] Behringer Virtualizer Pro reverb unit for the PA (since we are currently borrowing Rich's).
[x] Behringer ECM8000 omnidirectional measurement mic for the UltraCurve spectrum analyser/graphic already in the PA rack
[x] Two four-way insert looms (stereo jack to 2 x mono) for connecting the rack together.
[x] A new guitar strap
[x] A fourth Shubb capo (I need four for a full FFM set, if I don't want to spend all my time swapping one capo between four guitars).
[x] Three more XLR-XLR leads
[ ] A flight case for the mixer (another trip to Flightcase Warehouse, I suspect)
