It's our 11th wedding anniversary today. This morning, as usual, the radio came on, and, after the 7.30 news, the DJ said "after this break, a track by Britney Spears..."
Ad break came and went. The intro starts playing, and both of us blink, because both of us recognise it as Hungry Heart, by Bruce Springsteen. Anne says "Same initials, anyway." I grin, and add "Same first two letters of each name."
A moment passes in companionable silence barring the music, then Anne observes, out of the blue, "Pity., There's no Y in 'Bruce Springsteen'. I, who have been working on *exactly* the same thing only in reverse, say "No, and there's no U and C in 'Britney Spears', either."
