I've dealt with our (ex)MP several times, and as a local MP I always felt that she actually cared about local issues, which was gratifying. I didn't however vote for her, despite considering it pretty seriously, and the article linked above summarises exactly why not: "She said Labour policies and the way they were made had cost her the Peterborough seat."
