Or whatever it's traditional to say at the start of a new month.

Looking back at June, I'm quietly boggled to find how creative I've been. Specifically:

• Wrote melody and arrangement for Jack.
  
• Wrote lyrics for This Is My Land
  
• Wrote a translation for Lisa Lân
  
• Wrote lyrics and music for The Miller's Tale
  

That's more songs in a month than in the last decade, pretty much.

Which leaves me wondering exactly why June was so productive? Must be the new Moleskine? Although - I did write the words for "Jack" after coming back from a US Filk Con in 2006...

As an aside? It's interesting these are all very 'folky' rather than 'filky' lyrics.

My Gran always said "White Rabbits" on the first of the month. But only in months with "R" in their name.

Course she was from Staffordshire, so I have no doubt that tradition differs from area to area.
