Amen. In fact, I might widen that to almost *anything* that Cartoon Network is prepared to show. Crappy kids' tv was pretty much a driving force behind us ditching the tv completely. And what a good decision that was! Whenever I feel myself weakening and wanting CSI: New York again, I remember The PowerPuff Girls, or Spongebob, and it's all instantly worthwhile!

I know what you mean, but I'm outvoted by [livejournal.com profile] were_gopher.

It is a horrible fact that there are now more episodes of that wretched sponge than were ever made of Tom and Jerry between 1940 and 1967.

Ooooh. "Most Haunted". I used to *like* "Most Haunted".

*sigh*

I remember them showing some adequate versions of Japanese animation. One of the Gundam sequence, and Tenchi Muyo!, I recall, although there were some obvious changes and edits.

Whenever I stumble across the Sponge, it's always the same episode. Even when I was channel-surfing in a hotel in Chile.

Many people don't realize this, but they only ever made one episode of Spongebob Squarepants, which is just endlessly repeated.

Somehow ever the years, I've come to tolerate Sponge Bob. I used to hate it. Now it at least can amuse me when my sons insist on watching it.

Currently, Barney tops of Hate-o-meter for shows that insist on gracing my TV. Damn PBS Kids anyways for inserting that abomination.
