TV meme days 17 and 18

It helps if I remember to post them once edited, of course, So here's the unposted yesterday's with today's added on.

Day 17 - Favorite mini series

Anne's? Unquestionably the original V. MIne? Harder, but it goes to the superb The NIghtmare Man, a BBC scifi horror 4 parter from 1981 and now available on DVD!

Day 18 - Favorite title sequence

Guessing Anne's wasn't hard. MIami Vice - for the couple of frames in which the girl on the windsurfer does the insane head dip.

MIne's genuinely an impossible choice: it's either CSI: Miami, and almost entirely because it has the best scream in all of rock and roll in it, or the titles from Andromeda Season 1 - the soundtrack of insanely many layered guitars is by Alex Lifeson of Rush (here, but sadly only the audio).
