May. 2nd, 2003 08:22 pmName one song you hate to admit you like.
S Club 7, "Don't Stop Movin'"
Name two songs that always make you cry.
My own "Leviathan's Farewell" (which makes singing it tricky!)
The finale of Les Miserables, in that utterly perfect pause in which Fantine and Eponine have just sung "...to love another person is to see the face of God...", as the ghosts of those who died on the barricade begin their slow walk down to the front to "Do You Hear The People Sing?". I get chills just TYPING this.
Name three songs that turn you on.
Quarterflash, "Valerie" (not for the lyrics, but for the vocal delivery, close mic'ed and sexy as hell).
ABBA, "Andante Andante"
Fleetwood Mac, "I'm So Afraid" - the hell with the vocals, listen to the lead guitar on the live version!
Name four songs that always make you feel good.
Fleetwood Mac, "Don't Stop" (even more fun playing it with the band!)
Katrina and the Waves, "Walking On Sunshine"
Roxette, "Joyride" (summer in 3 minutes!)
The Byrds, "Mr. Spaceman"
Name five songs you couldn't ever do without.
Chess Soundtrack, "Anthem"
Eric Clapton, "Layla"
Fleetwood Mac, "Rhiannon"
Fleetwood Mac, "Silver Springs"
Fleetwood Mac, "Landslide" (Funny how they're all Stevie Nicks tracks...)
