A couple of meme's, via

Six comfort foods:
1) Tea, white, two sugars. Must be Taylor's Yorkshire, must be almost too hot to drink, and strong.
2) A cheese sandwich - two slices of fresh, homemade wholemeal bread, preferably still warm, applewood smoked Cheddar, Branston pickle.
3) Toast and crunchy peanut butter
4) Freshly made porridge, with blueberries - the perfect start to a cold morning
5) Sausage, baked beans and mash, the way Mum makes 'em. And saving a bit of each for the last mouthful.
6) A KitKat Chunky chocolate bar.
Four inspirations:
People without whom I wouldn't be where I am:
1) My parents, for having a house with music in, never minding me banging out tunes on the piano, and not saying 'no' to 'can I have a guitar?' and 'can I have an electric guitar?'. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be the musician I am, not by a long shot.
2) My wife Anne. Without whom, I would probably not be a Christian, not to mention probably living in a very untidy bachelor flat with no money :)
3) Simon King, founder of CricInfo. Without him employing me, I wouldn't have the extremely marketable skill set I have now, or the cool job.
4)
bardling and
plaid_dragon, without whom I wouldn't be 2/3 of the way through writing a novel, and certainly wouldn't have finished Dark Places
