Hardware headaches

fleetfootmikeI need to scan one measely image to finish this Quark Xpress project I'm working on. The damn scanner has worked fine for the other 20 or so, but here I am, with a 'burn the CD' deadline of today, and every blasted time the scanner stops, locks the machine up and ... well, that's it.
