Depping again...

Got to fill in on bass with Higgledy Piggledy (the website's out of date!) again, thanks to micktim, on Saturday night.

Four hours of jigs, reels and stuff (with no chord charts and no rehearsal) barring a 45 min break in the middle. Great fun, but knackering, and does wonders for my ability to make it up as I go along :)

Rehearsal? Rehearsal's for the weak and sickly in *this* band. They work on the principle that if you can't keep up, or don't know enough of the tradition to figure out where "Soldier's Joy" goes in the B-part, then they simply won't use you again.

Needless to say, you got invited back.

And we are pushing for you to go back again and again :-)
