Nice place, the Plough. Improved by (apparently) someone calling the place at 7pm to confirming we were on, and saying they were bringing TWENTY people. Never figured out which twenty they were, but the place was full, and clearly liked us. Met qb_fox's mate David (hope I got the name right, it was late and I was knackered), who seemed to enjoy us, and helped us load up afterwards - cheers, mate! Finally got home @ 3am.

High spots: Rhiannon - as ever... The Chain, and Sisters Of The Moon, which smoked. We had Shaun from Higgledy Piggledy (the bassist I occasionally dep for) on sound, and he coped remarkably well. I got a fan - female too, although as Annie said, "a bit rough" - something of an understatement. But she did like the guitar playing. :)

Next gig - 7th Oct, The Marquis of Granby, Wellingore, Lincs, 9.30-midnight

I got a text on Saturday morning saying that you were a very competent tribute, he'd enjoyed it very much and thought you were a great bunch of people to boot.
