BBQ still on at the moment. :)

England 227 ahead, 49 overs left in the day, 3 wickets in hand. I'm not making any predictions...

Total tatters!

Went for a walk at lunchtime. Came back and wondered what the score was - decided to be optimistic and hope for 180-5. Turned on radio and it was 182-5. Phew! Then Collingwood and Jones got out... Aaaaargghh!

10 more overs/30 more runs and I might start to relax...

Get safely down to 40 overs so the Aus RR needs to be over 5 and I'll feel lots better myself.

Tim's home early, so we're stuck in front of the telly, breath as baited as anything.

Peterson's a God :-)

Chips for tea so I don't have to leave this sofa and miss anything...

Pieterson did wonderfully (first test century!), and Collingwood did his job and stayed there. At work I was following the commentary on the-cricket-site and reporting major things to the rest of the office (OK, only 4 of us in today)...

Can't help wondering if when Warne dropped Pietersen on 15, P didn't turn to him and (as it may have been Ian Chappell once said to an English fielder on another occasion) "Congrats mate, you just dropped the Ashes"...
