I'd clean forgot I'd friended adventcalendar, and the arrival of the first post for this year on Dec 1 was a pleasant and thought-provoking surprise.

For some reason I've always thought that an Advent calendar should have pithy sayings on each day such as "With what, your bare hands?" and "You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike."

I also friended adventcalender last year. I really like the daily posts. They are nicely written and often very thoughtful/thought-provoking.
