Thereby delighting Dodgers' play by play commentator Vin Scully by allowing him to finally announce "Hu's on first".

ESPN commentator Chris Berman went through a period of giving players punning nicknames. I think he'd have been more likely to call him "Guess" Hu.

(Other well-known Berman nicknames include Jose "Can You See" Cruz and Bert "Be Home" Blyleven. Kevin Bass asked Berman to change his nickname from "Largemouth" to "Smallmouth.")
