Am I the only person who noticed the re-arranged, rockier theme music.

I was at the MIL's with three kids - I was lucky to see a glimpse of the screen and hear one word in three, let alone appreciate the theme :]

I think I remarked that it continues to improve. I wasn't impressed with the first-season version at all (something was off tempo just enough to be a noticeable drag) but they fixed it for second season.

Now if only they'd take out that bit in the graphics where the TARDIS stops and goes into reverse but the music doesn't, then at least the opening sequence would be perfect every time.

Noticed it, yes. Liked it, not really.

The Dr Who theme already has a driving rhythm - to my ears, admittedly on only the one hearing, what they lost by muddying this completely drowned any gains from rearrangement.

My other dominant thought from that episode was that it was a great shame they didn't feel able to have her say (as the camera panned onto her in the fork lift) "Get away from him, you son of a bitch!". If you're going to steal, STEAL. :)

Yep, I noticed it too, still not sure what I think yet. I should go back and watch it again. :)
