What I did this weekend...

fleetfootmikeLets see - Friday: apart from work - wrote a press release for Peterborough Operatic and Dramatic Society's production of "Fiddler On The Roof" and mailed it out to the editor of the local theatre's monthly paper.
Saturday: whisked James downstairs so Anne could have a lie in. Helped Anne clean upstairs, once she was up (which mostly consisted of removing James from her general vicinity on a regular basis :-) ). Fleetfoot Mike rehearsal: we have two gigs coming up: March 21st, in Sleaford, which is basically an audition for our potential agent (man with LOTS of contacts for tribute band gigs), so LOTS of rentacrowd support needed there; and July 12th in Neath (Wales) - outdoor festival: last year they had 12,000+ people there (*eep*). Rehearsal was good: we got "Fireflies" nearly up to speed (it's another Stevie stream-of-consciousness one with no structure at all!), and fixed the problems with "Tusk" (mostly the fact that Anne, Mal and I didn't agree on where we start one section). Also watched the Video CD of three songs from the Xmas gig - you know, we looked pretty decent!
Rehearsal over, everyone else went home and Anne and I watched something on TV which can't have been that exciting 'cause I can't remember it!
Sunday: got up at half-past-stupid-o'clock to watch England v Australia (in Australia) cricket match, took James' baby alarm with me so Anne didn't have to deal if he woke up. We lost, but not as badly as I feared. Tidied and cleaned downstairs (same job as yesterday!). Did some work, watched Time Team, Witchblade, Dragon Fighter (naff but fun made-for-TV movie with Dean Cain (Superman)). Bed.
