Day 09 - Best scene ever

Boy. Toughie. There are so many good ones. As can be told by the fact that I've had this post window open for half an hour already since I typed this...

Based on pure 'grab you and draw you in' wow factor, though, as well as the number of times I /know/ I've rewatched it? The very opening scene of Legend of the Seeker - the horseback chase with Kahlan and her sister. Fantastic. And uses (I'm pretty sure) two pieces of NZ scenery familiar to fans of LOTR (the horse chase with Arwen in FOTR) and Xena (the sandy beach for the chariot race early in season 1).

The first appearance of a Shadow ship in B5 Signs and Portents as it cuts the carrier in half with its beam weapon.

I'm not sure I can recall a more jaw-dropping WTF oh-wow-oh-wow-oh-wow moment on the small screen. (The first appearance of the Star Destroyer over Tatooine probably has it beat but only on the big screen!)
