Anne and I were discussing silly gaming-related cartoon strips, for no good reason, and odd quotes that stick in the mind.
Anyone remember these quotes from strips that appeared in UK and US gaming mags in the 80s?
"Sheesh. We has got to get da dragon a new water bowl...."
(Bonus prize if you can remember the *dragon's* name.)
"Ar'm no' mappin'. It's borin', an' anyway a cannae spell."
(Bonus prize if you can remember the title of the strip, caiuse I sure as hell can't!)
"No. No. Kick, then turn, THEN flame!"
(Bonus prize if you can remember the strip topic the characters kept promising but not delivering on....)
"Brain: AC -10 due to targetting difficulties."
(No bonus prize for this one...)
