Being very silly...

While plaid_dragon was visiting yesterday, we spent a fair amount of time (that's we, the so called adults) making one of James' 'pull a string and it goes' cars do silly things - specifically, jump Evel Knevel style over a pair of ramps (made from a very deserving Barry Manilow LP, a Thomas the Tank Engine annual and several StickleBricks).

We managed it, eventually, having spent a lot of time adjusting ramps, determining how much run up it needed (the darn thing's friction drive accelerates quite slowly), and persuaded James he didn't need that PARTICULAR Thomas The Tank Engine annual right THIS minute.

Once we (the hard working scientific researchers, that's us) succeeded, I dug out the phone, which has a camera, and attempted to grab a picture of the car in the air.

I... um.. guess the shutter speed on the built in camera on a Sony Ericsson t610 is not that high :) That blurred streak is a red and white Porsche, honest.

I'm glad you had fun with a T610 - we've been having so many complaints about the sound quality it's nice to hear something about a different problem!

But, IYDMMA - why on earth did you have a Barry Manilow LP available?
