For the third time in a couple of months, I have come downstairs to find feathers all over the living room, and a dead pigeon on the kitchen floor. And a very proud Sully purring at us... and... eww, cat. Pigeon breath :)

I find it interesting that what you object to is, not the dead body or the feathers all over, but the pigeon breath.

{grin}

One of ours loves her toy mousies.

We dread the day that she ever finds a real one.

We may not notice for several days...

Then we pick one up to toss it for her... Ewwww...

She's a natural predator. I can't really blame her for doing what comes naturally. And she was surprisingly tidy - I found the rest of the pigeon in the playroom, in one neat pile, at lunchtime.

(And yes, my opinion on this is 'if you can't handle keeping a predator, either a) don't, or b) get one that is HAPPY being kept indoors')
