On a happier note...

I have just spent a very pleasant hour walking through Werrington village in glorious sunshine, to pick up James from nursery. On the way back, he found a conker, we stopped at the village store where I bought him a carton of Ribena and me a bottle of water, and we walked on home. James insisted we 'pick a flower for Mummy', so there's a dandelion sitting in half a glass of water on the kitchen side.

I don't think I can place a monetary value on being able to do that.
