fleetfootmike'Bout time Fleetfoot Mike had another :)
Mal was late, due to hordes-of-screaming-kids-at-party issues, but we got a fair bit done. We've picked out the tracks for the new demo, and started working on them:
Don't Stop: the Mirage tour arrangement, with the kickass piano instrumental at the end (same version we have on the current demo). This we have pretty much together, though we changed where the stop comes from the second to the first of the pair of choruses at the end, and worked a little bit on the vocals.
Rhiannon: no surprise here: the Fleetwood Mac Live arrangement, all 7 glorious minutes of it. Annie *really* rocks on this. We tuned the instrumental breakdown in the middle a bit, and got Annie back to what she's supposed to be singing :)
Everywhere: this is such fun to play: the bassline really grooves, and it all hangs together. Worked on the chorus vocals, Anne's vocal tone as Christine, and the weird scat singing bit between Chris and Stevie at the end - it used to be one line each, alternately: now the girls are (nearly) doing alternate notes, which is really hard but sounds fantastic.
