We have no phone....
Apr. 8th, 2004 09:02 pmFor those of you who've tried phoning recently, you may have noticed a BT 'this line is temporarily out of service' type message.
We're pretty sure this is the ISDN line to the PABX (yes, we have a switchboard at home - how sad is that) since internal calls work, and as SOON as you dial enough digits for the PABX to figure it's an external line, we get an engaged tone.
Called BT at 5.45pm yesterday: they called back at about 6:45 to confirm details, and promised a call back in half an hour after they'd reset the line.
They didn't. They called back at 11,.20 am, while I was in a meeting. And left a message while basically said 'it'll be fixed within 8 working hours'.
Which probably takes us to TUESDAY.
Till then, if you need to talk to myself or Anne, I suggest IRC, AIM, Yahoo or my mobile. If you don't have access to any of the above, try email :)
