Monday rehearsals
Mar. 9th, 2005 08:58 amA day late, since I was in London for $new_job yesterday.
Last Monday we had a different rehearsal - it being freezing cold in the music room, we decamped into the lounge and worked on what we reckon is our major shortcoming, vocal timbre/tone. Several things:
That was last week. THIS week we were out in the music room, putting it into practise. I can safely say, that was by far and away the BEST version of "Go Your Own Way" we've ever done, and ditto for "Say You Love Me". Definite improvement all round, in fact.

- If you think an audience of 200+ is intimidating, it's not a patch on an audience of four when they're your bandmates, and their sole aim is to find where you can improve...
- NONE of us sound like we think we do!
- We're threatening a set of notes, one on each of Anne, Annie and my monitors:
- Mike: "Use Your Head" (head voice, not chest voice)
- Annie: "Cheeky Girl (Not Your Mum)" (best not to ask!)
- Anne: "Bored Now" (Chris McVie sounds *bored* when she sings)
- Mike: "Use Your Head" (head voice, not chest voice)
