Help!

Have just finished a technical discussion with a couple of colleagues, which ultimately boiled down to both of them (both of whom I consider more than competent) not understanding something I'd evidently found too intuitive to consider needing explanation.

armb (and any other ex-Shape Data employees) will hopefully understand when I lament 'Help, I'm turning into Bernie Solomon'!
